Trey Songz - Missing You

Today is "Cleanin' Out The Closet Day" here at SF, if you haven't noticed. Here is a very good track that I downloaded by accident. It was labeled as a new song by Lloyd, who I am quite a fan of, but turned out to be a track by Trey Songz, produced by Stargate. The beat is excellent and trademark Stargate: good but not too flashy, letting the singer's voice shine. That style is an excellent fit for Trey Songz, who has a very nice voice. The icing on the cake is a great computerized effect during the chorus that is reminiscent of Daft Punk.

Cassie - Is It You

This is a new song from Cassie supposedly for the soundtrack from Step Up 2. It was produced by Ryan Leslie. The beat is ok, but nothing special. Cassie has certainly improved her singing voice as well.

R. Kelly - Same Girl (Remix) (ft. Usher & T-Pain)

Another official remix coming for you. This time it's "Same Girl" by R. Kelly. T-Pain apparently hasn't seen the music video, judging by his verse (you'll know what I'm talking about when you hear it) and the song takes a complete detour roughly half way through, but it's still not a bad remix

Kanye West - Can't Tell Me Nothing (Remix) (ft. Young Jeezy)

Considering this song was based off of "I Got Money" by Young Jeezy and features his adlibs in the back, it took awhile for this remix to happen. This is the official remix, not the blend that was floating around for awhile. Everything is new but the beat. Jeezy has new verses as does Kanye.

Young Leek - Where You Should Be (ft. Ne-Yo & Kanye West) (Snippet)

When I was downloading this song, I thought for sure it was either a mislabeled version of "Finer Things" by Cyssero or a blend with the vocals from that song. I'm pleased to say that I was wrong on both counts. It's a snippet of a new track by a new artist aptly named Young Leek (he is 17 after all). The beat is good and Ne-Yo and Kanye both offer fantastic contributions to the track. In fact, I snipped out just their part for those who aren't fans of Young Leek.

Ne-Yo - Don't Take It Personal

This is an unreleased Ne-Yo track. I'm not sure if it's from either the "In My Own Words" or the "Because of You" eras. It's not a bad track. Not particularly exciting either. There's a slight DJ presence on the song, but it's not too bad.

Fall Out Boy - "This Ain't A Scene (Remix) (ft. VA)"

I heard an abridged version of this a couple weeks ago via a DJ's MySpace. Well, today the full track, CDQ with no shout outs, finally leaked. I like it, though it is over crowded. Full list of features: Travis (from Gym Class Heroes), Tyga, Kanye West (who produced the beat), Paul Wall, Skin Head Rob, Lupe Fiasco, and Lil Wayne.

JoJo - Beautiful Girls

JoJo + JR Rotem = pure awesome, it is now a fact. JoJo actually kills the beat. You can hear it slowly dying as she sings over it. Just download it already:

Common - Drivin Me Wild (ft. Lily Allen)

The time until Finding Forever leaks is now measured in hours, not days or weeks. And I couldn't be happier. Especially if it sounds anything like this track. Kanye went crazy behind the boards (though the beat does get repetitive) and Common, as always, blesses the track with fantastic flow. And yes, the hook is Lily Allen. That is not a typo.

Update: The album leaked later that day. So the link has been changed to the CD rip of the song from the leak.

Mario - How Do I Breathe (Corna Boyz Remix)

I like the original song, but I've always felt it could have a better beat. Lo and behold, the Corna Boyz have answered my call! They supply Mario's silky vocals with a very nice low key synth beat. Let me take this time to again say that I cannot wait for "Go!"

Beyonce - Get Me Bodied (Timbaland Remix) (ft. Fabolous)

I kinda like the original (which is basically how I feel about the whole of "B-Day," I kinda like it). Timbaland can make anything better and he had a nice amount of room to improve on this track. Not content to leave it at that, Fabo jumped on for added support. All in all, not a bad remix.

And the other song that was released in snippet form has leaked in full. The song is No Definition and it was produced by Timbaland and is quite the good track. This album can't come out soon enough.

Mario - Why

I posted a snippet of this track a couple weeks ago. It was produced by the Underdogs, who made a great R&B beat. I love the song and I can't wait for Mario's album "Go!" due out August 21st.
