First, for the record, let me state that Katharine McPhee is smoking hot. Now that I've gotten that out of the way, here are 2 songs that might be on her debut album, which comes out soon. They are both produced by R&B producers, The Underdogs and Danja Handz for "I Lost You" and "Dangerous," respectively. Rumor has it that one of the tracks on her album was produced by Ryan Leslie. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm actually a little excited for an American Idol's album.
I LOVE the song "Southside" by Lloyd and Ashanti. It's a great love song and was a sizable hit for Lloyd. Sadly he kinda disappeared after that, only surfacing for a hook here and there. Well, he has a new album coming out next year and the first single off of it is called "You" and samples the song "True" from Spandau Ballet. Lloyd sounds smooth as ever on another sweet song that is only marred by the appearance of Lil Wayne. Thankfully the remix ditches Lil Wayne for the better tandem of Andre 3000 and Nas. I uploaded both. The music video is above.
This album took awhile to leak. Well kinda. Most of the songs on it have been floating around for awhile. But the real, retail, grouprip version is now out so check your music site of choice for it. Sadly the song I posted earlier, "Man Up," is not on the album. Which sucks because it is a helluva hot track.
This is supposedly a track off of Omarion's upcoming album "21." The beat is terminally ill and Omarion and Korean singer Rain both sound great over it. Enjoy:
I'm not a big fan of Danity Kane. In fact, I dislike them. "Showstopper" is just plain terrible. So why am I posting this? Because I can lol. And because I know a lot of people were looking for the instrumental. So without any further ado, here it tis:
Deep Side is a new R&B group out of Florida. This is a remix of their new single. The original version features R. Kelly as well as a different beat. The beat for this remix was done by super-producers-in-the-making Mysto & Pizzi from Ryan Leslie's Next Selection group. The song is hot and the beat is sick. This is the full promo pack with Clean, Clean without Rap, and Instrumental versions of the song.
I had a sudden and crippling attack of "the lazies" for the past couple weeks, hence the lack of updates. I'm trying to make it up to you though. I switched the blog to the Blogger Beta, which means posts can now have labels added to them for easy navigating (frequent ones are on the right). I went back and labeled all my previous posts for you. The beta also makes prettying it up easier, so I'll be (attempting at least) to add some pizazz to the page with banners and the like. And I will be trying to update more often. We're in a bit of a lull at the moment though after the flurry of album leaks (Ciara, Gwen, Nas). I'll try to fill any gaps with rare tracks and songs from little known artists and such.
These are 2 live songs JoJo performed for the "Christmas in Washington" program in 2004. She did a great job with both of them. Hopefully she'll release some studio Christmas songs at some point.
This is rumored to be their first single off their next album. I kinda hope not. I like the song, but it's different from the Linkin Park we've all come to know and love. It's more hard rock and less electronic. I don't know if it would do well at radio. But again, it's still a good tune. This is a CD quality studio recording of the song from the LP Underground V. 6.
This song was mentioned at JJFB, so I thought I'd throw it up for all those who don't have it. This is a full, CDQ version of the song she performed on the NBC show "American Dreams." It's longer than the version actually shown on the show. It popped up on Tommy2.net about a week after the episode aired. Here ya go:
This is the promo CD maxi released in Europe for JoJo's single Too Little Too Late. It features 2 versions of the Full Phatt remix, which is quite hot. Too bad the rapper on the one version sucks. It also includes the "Radio Edit" and Instrumental of the original song.
Two new Kanye tracks in 24 hours! It's like heaven for me. I love them both too. This one is off of DJ Clue's mixtape "The Professional Part 3" coming out soon. It was produced by Kanye, so you know the beat is hot. Commence with the downloading!
This is what purports to be an early version of My Love. JT's vocals sound different in parts and there's only one vocal track (i.e. no "what would you do?" in the background). Something also sounds different about the beat.
This is a brand new Kanye track. I don't know what it's from, but it's a solid track, as to be expected since it is Kanye. John Legend provides the great hook while Kanye and Termanology have short verses. It isn't that long a track, but I do like it:
Well. It leaked. It's pretty good too. I am a little disappointed though. Only one track was produced by Kanye and Kanye doesn't appear anywhere on the album as a guest. And Nas' rumored appearance is nowhere to be found. To balance that out are guest spots from R&B phenoms Usher and Ne-Yo and R&B phenom-in-the-making Sterling Simms. Do yourself a favor and at least download the track "Anything" featuring Usher and produced by the Neptunes (yep, that's right, it sounds like Chad actually worked on this beat! How do I know that? Because it actually sounds good!). So check your usual sites, as it should be flooding the internets right about now. And from my favorite people in the "scene" RNS.
I already posted all of the songs before, but this is a formal pack with all three bonus tracks. These are all my rips (I bought 4 copies of this CD lol). The Walmart and Best Buy bonus tracks were ripped directly from the CDs while the iTunes track was de-DRM'ed then converted. Enjoy!
1 - Do Whatcha Gotta Do (iTunes) 04:29 2 - Get It Poppin' (Walmart) 03:59 3 - I Can Take You There (Best Buy) 04:51
The video premiered earlier today on TRL. Unfortunately, I didn't know that so I didn't cap it. I was forced to rip it from MTV.com and convert it. I'll up a better quality file as soon as I get my hands on one. But anyway, here it is, the full video, with explicit audio:
This is the first single off of his upcoming album by the same name. It was produced by Will.i.am. Which is a little disappointing, but it's Nas, and not even the unsure hands of Will.i.am can temper his talent. Here it is, full and CDQ:
This is a new Mario Barrett track. For his new album he's decided to include his last name. It was produced by Polow Da Don (he of recent R&B hitmaking). It's a mid tempo song. I kinda like it. But I can't help but think that it could have been better had some one else produced it. Mario's new album, "Effortless" is in stores December 19th.
"The High Road" comes with a bonus track at Walmart and Best Buy (different for each store). Here is the Best Buy bonus track "I Can Take You There." [EDIT:] Added Walmart bonus track.
This is the bonus track offered to people who preordered "The High Road" off of iTunes. It's a slow song and was produced by Beau Dozier, the same man who produced "Anything."
I've been looking for this for years. Every once in awhile one would pop up on eBay, but I could never win it. I finally did win it last week, and it arrived in the mail today. Here it is, as well-ripped as could possibly be. The package includes full scans as well, of the front and back covers and the CD itself. The front cover scan is up there. Click it to see the full size. Tracklist below followed by the link:
* 01 - Baby It's You (Main) 03:32 * 02 - Baby It's You (Instrumental) 03:26 * 03 - Baby It's You (Acappella) 02:59 * 04 - Baby It's You (Call Out Hook) 00:15 JoJo-Baby_It's_You-(Promo_CDS)-OoZ.rar [18.89 MB]
As always, should you put this link on your blog, MySpace, or whatever, credit SexyFront.
With her sophomore album only a day away, and many new fans coming into the fold, I felt it would be courteous to upload some bonus tracks from her first album. The first 2 are "Butterflies" and "Back and Forth" which are bonus tracks from the European version of the album. "Back and Forth" was also released to online music stores in the US. The last one is "I Need To Know" which is a rare demo track that leaked in July 2004, shortly after the album came out. It's not in nearly as good quality as the other tracks, though.
The video is actually for "Let Me Talk To You" + "My Love." I like it. The camera work is really cool. I also upped the combined tracks, straight off the promo VLS. Video link is now a near DVD quality XviD avi compressed in a rar file. And, as always, screenshots above are taken straight from the actual file (click on em to see the full size).
Well, the Jay-Z stuff is coming hard and fast now. [UPDATE] Link changed to a CD rip of the song. It was produced by Just Blaze and some one managed to find the instrumental of it. I guess Just Blaze whipped the beat up awhile ago and let a mixtape release it, only to have Jay-Z want it. Anyway, here ya go:
I whipped this up using the tracks off of the just leaked promo CDS of the song. It's not too shabby, if I do say so myself. If anyone wants it, I'll up the full CDS.
Yeah, so the snippet was fake. Kinda thought so. The single is out a little late, but since it's such a big deal, it'll get up to speed much faster. Here it is, in all it's glory, Jay-Z's first single in almost 3 years:
Right on time. 12 days before release. And leaked by RNS. I love them. Don't forget to buy it October 17th! Pre-order on iTunes and you'll get a bonus track!
ARTIST: JoJo TITLE: The High Road LABEL: Blackground Records GENRE: Pop BITRATE: 199kbps avg PLAYTIME: 0h 45min total RELEASE DATE: 2006-10-17 RIP DATE: 2006-10-06

EDIT: Found a CD-Rip of it. Sounds like an unmastered version though, so I'm still waiting anxiously for the album to leak. The MySpace rip is actually a little longer than the CD-Rip.
Jeez, ask and you shall receive. I posted a Mario song yesterday and wondered when the first single from his new album would leak. Well, today is, supposedly, that day. This is the first single off of Mario's new album, supposedly called "Effortless." It's a nice slow jam, but it's not quite as good as "Let Me Love You." Then again, that was a Scott Storch produced, Ne-Yo penned track. That's a hell of a hard combo to beat. Here's the song:
When iTunes revealed today that they'd have a bonus track for "The High Road" titled "Do Whatcha Gotta Do," I thought, "ANOTHER song copying a John Legend track?" First was "The High Road" (JL guested on a song by the same name on "The Rising Tied" by Fort Minor, which is incidentally the best hip-hop album from last year not called "Late Registration.") And now we have "Do Whatcha Gotta Do" which is very similar to "Do What I Gotta Do" which was an unreleased track from the "Get Lifted" sessions. And was produced by Kanye West. I know the chances are INCREDIBLY slim, but God I hope they're the same song lmao. Anywho, here are John Legend's songs, just cause they are damn good. Especially "High Road." It's one of the best songs of all of last year.
I'm not entirely sure when this song was recorded. Nor do I know who produced it (I sure can't tell from the beat. It's a rather bland up-tempo one) It's an okay song. Mario sounds good on it. I'm just happy to hear some music from him. He supposedly has a new album coming this winter. I sure hope this is not the first single.
I don't know why I didn't put this up earlier. Just lazy I guess. Anywho, here is the video and audio for her performance of "This Time" on Overdrive. MTV announced "This Time" as the second single, which jives with previous reports so I think we can look forward to the Scott Storch produced track being the second single.
JoJo's performances at AOL were just put up. She performed 5 songs, 4 off of her new album (she performed "Leave" again). The video of her performing "How To Touch A Girl" is embedded above. Links to the audio and video are below.
JoJo performs the first single off of her sophomore album "The High Road" titled "Too Little Too Late" live on MTV's TRL on September 27th 2006. I put the audio up too if anyone wants that:
This is the first single off of JC's new album, due sometime this winter. It's a mid tempo, kinda funky song, produced by his old running buddy Justin Timberlake (whose falsetto you can hear at times in the song). I kinda like it. This is a CD rip of the song, so no AOL voice tag and it's 30 seconds longer. Enjoy!
Ciara has a new album coming out this December. The first single is called "The Promise" and it just debuted on AOL, which means it's got the AOL guy going "AOL First Listen" a couple times during the song. It's produced by Polow Da Don. I'm not liking it. It's too slow for me. If you were a fan of "And I" though you'll probably like it.
Above is the cover for JoJo's sophomore album "The High Road." I like it. It's simple but it still stands out. The tracklisting was also released:
Track listing: 1. Too Little, Too Late 2. The Way You Do Me 3. This Time 4. Good Ol 5. Anything 6. Like That 7. High Road 8. Coming For You 9. Let It Rain 10. Exceptional 11. How To Touch A Girl 12. Note To God
Note: If only 12 songs is dissappointing, remember, there will probably be bonus tracks for iTunes, brick and mortar stores and the international release.
Update 1: I am good lol. iTunes has a bonus track called "Do Whatcha Gotta Do" for those who preorder the album from them.
This is the full song. A snippet leaked awhile back. I never got around to listening to it. I really regret that now cause this track is hot. The beat is sick and Christina sounds great and Diddy doesn't sound annoying. I can't wait for the CDQ to leak.
This is supposedly a snippet of the first single off of Jay-Z's comeback album, due in November. I'm not so sure about the validity of it, but I trust the source enough to at least post it. The full song should leak any day now if they plan on getting it out to radio in time for the album. Typical lead time is 2 months, and they're pushing that now. Anyway, here it is:
Each of their albums have leaked. Ludacris' is only in webrip form for the minute, but I'm sure that will change soon. Anywho, check your favorite music site, they should have it by now. I, personally, am not too interested in any of those. Luda and Bobby V kinda interest me, but I'm short of HD space so I probably won't download them. In a quasi related note, my copy of "FutureSex/LoveSounds" just showed up. I ordered it over a week ago. The post office here sucks lol.
I have been looking for this song for years. Finally, earlier today, I got it. And it is good lol. To make matters even better, it's well encoded (LAME 3.90 & 192 kbps). Here it is, so that future generations will not have as many problems finding it as I have lol: Britney Spears - Me Against The Music [Kanye West Remix] (5.11 MB)
Note: This file was uploaded on RapidUpload because ZShare was giving me problems.
As always, should you put this link on your blog, MySpace, or whatever, credit SexyFront.
Yet another album has hit the internets. I haven't checked it out yet, but I probably will. I like his kinda nerdy approach to rap (notice the Nintendo DS and what I believe is a skinned Xbox 360 on the cover up there). You may know Lupe from his guest spot on Kanye West's track "Touch The Sky" off of "Late Registration."
This one has been floating around in radio rip form for awhile now. I don't know how the studio kept the lid on the CDQ version so long, but I must give them props. It's impressive they kept it so long. Other studios could learn from them. Again, I won't post the album. Just letting you know it's out there.
This is my first stab at making a beat. I don't think it came out too shabby. This is just a rough cut. It uses a sample from "Hey Love" by Stevie Wonder. I haven't done any differentiation for the chorus or bridge or anything. And I'll probably be tweaking it more before I'm done. As you can see by the title, I was trying to make it sound like a Kanye West production. Please, comment on it! Any suggestions for how I can make it better? think it's an abomination? Tell me below!
I saw a couple Circuit City commercials today that advertised B'Day with an "Exclusive Circuit City Bonus Track." I was surprised that it hadn't leaked yet. When I got online tonight, I find out that lo and behold, it has! The uptempo track is produced by Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins and is quite good. I'm surprised it wasn't on the album proper. Though whoever ripped it didn't quite know what they were doing. It's only 128 kbps. Being a stuck up audiophile, I find this a grave disgrace lol. Link:
I'm still hesitant to put full albums up on the blog, but I just wanted to post a little note to say that this album has leaked, in full, and in CDQ. Almost a full month before it's supposed to be out. First "FutureSex/LoveSounds" leaks 3 weeks early, now Evanescence's album leaks a month early. The album is floating around a multitude of sites now, so it shouldn't be too hard to find.
This is a bonus track off of B'Day. It is an iTunes exclusive that you get for "free" when you buy her album from them. It's produced by Swizz Beatz. It's ok. Nothing special. I can see why it wasn't on the album proper.
I posted the original version of this remix awhile back. It was just Chamillionaire's beat tacked on to the beginning of the regular song. Now along comes this version, with a remized beat by original co-producer Charles Roane. And it's in CD quality. I prefer the original song, but this isn't too shabby.
JT performed earlier tonight at the VMAs in New York. He performed the first verse of "My Love" then segued into "SexyBack." I love both songs and JT put on a great performance (with some help from Timbaland). Here are links to the video and the audio of the performance:
This is getting ridiculous. But it's a good ridiculous. Here are 4 more tracks off of "FutureSex/LoveSounds" in full and in CDQ. I cannot wait for this album. And here's hoping that the next song to leak is "LoveStoned." Just the clip for that is driving me insane lol Links:
The past 24 hours have been very Tmberlake-y lol. As if their weren't enough JT leaking lately, here's 2 full songs. One is a CD-rip, the other is recorded at a club tour stop. The tracks are "FutureSex/LoveSound" and "LoveStoned" respectively. Lastly, is a 30 sec clip of a hidden song off the album called "Pose" which will feature Snoop Dogg. Here are the links:
The internet music community has been waiting a frickin month for this. Or at least I have. I will forever think "Atlantic Records, with TI clearance" when I hear this song lol. Here it is, CD quality, with no DJ whatsoever:
Here are 30 sec clips from Justin Timberlake's upcoming album FutureSex/LoveSounds (in stores September 12th). EDIT: Sampler now includes clips from every track on the album, including the Best Buy-only bonus track "Pose." Tracklist:
1. FutureSex/LoveSounds 2. SexyBack 3. Sexy Ladies 4. My Love 5. LoveStoned 6. What Goes Around 7. Chop Me Up 8. Damn Girl 9. Summer Love/Set The Mood 10. Until the End of Time 11. Losing My Way 12. Another Song (All Over Again) 13. Pose
This is a song off of Paula DeAnda's debut album which is coming out at some point in time, I think lol. I'm pretty sure this is NOT the second single. That would be "Easy." Anywho, as the title says, this song was written by two songwriters who are perhaps the best of their respective genders under 25 years old. It's a nice R&B tune, though Paula, despite a nice voice, still doesn't really stand out from the crowd.
There are a couple versions of this track floating around. There are 2 below. The beat is done by the Corner Boys, they of unreleased Ciara and Rico Love fame (they've produced a ton of stuff for him including "Settle Down."). The beat is sick and Sterling has a nice flow on top of it. And I frickin LOVE the hook. This is a recommended listen for anyone who likes R&B, specifically the more hip-hop-ish Usher tracks.
Sorry (again) for the dead period. I was busy moving into the house I share with some friends here at college. Here is the full CD single for Beyonce's "Ring the Alarm." Tracklist:
1. Ring the Alarm (Clean) 2. Ring the Alarm (Dirty) 3. Ring the Alarm (Instrumental)
UNeSS is a new artist from Detroit, signed to Next Selection, same label as Cassie, founded by Ryan Leslie. In fact, UNeSS co-wrote/produced 2 songs on Cassie's album ("About Time" and "Not With You"). He's had several songs floating around on mixtapes. He's similar to Justin Timberlake in that he uses a falsetto in addition to his normal singing voice. Currently he writes and produces for artists on Next Selection and Bad Boy. Plans for an album are murky at the moment. I love this guy's voice. And I'm addicted to the track "Over" he wrote, and which is produced by fellow NS artists Mysto and Pizzi (I love them too. They will be HUGE soon, I just know it.) The video above is UNeSS in the studio with Mysto and Pizzi making the track "Over."LISTEN TO IT! It's ungodly awesome. Sadly, not only has the song not been released nor leaked, UNeSS might not be performing it when it does. It's being shown to artists from Bad Boy and other labels for their artists. B5 and Chris Brown were mentioned as likely candidates for singing the final track. But, on Mysto and Pizzi's MySpace page, it lists the song as "UNeSS - Over" so hopefully he'll get it in the end. There are some tracks by him below (none of them produced by Mysto and Pizzi though). "Finally" is sick.
The small version has been going around for almost a month. I finally was able to capture the full video off of MTV yesterday morning. It's the best quality out there right now. I dare say it would take a DVD rip to beat it. The screenshots above are straight from the video, as always. Click em to see the full size versions. Video is XviD with MP3 sound in .rar packaging. JoJo - Too Little Too Late (HQ Music Video) (39 MB) (Hosted on MegaUpload)
If you post this on your blog, MySpace, or whatever, credit SexyFront.
This is a track that was not on his debut album. It's called "Gangsta Boo." It's not a bad track, but it's not all that good either, at least in my opinion. Link:
Wow, I suck at life lol. Sorry for the lack of updates over the past couple days. I was vacationing in Baltimore (note: the Batwing at Six Flags: America is frickin awesome lol). Here is my latest TV cap - JoJo performing "Too Little Too Late" live for the first time, on Miss Teen USA. I've even included the MP3, cause, well, I already had it made as part of the process of making the video, so I thought, why the hell not? As always, video is XviD with MP3 sound in RAR packaging. Links: (Video) JoJo - Too Little Too Late (Live on Miss Teen USA) (35 MB) (Hosted on MegaUpload)
This is the full CD single of JoJo's hit song "Leave (Get Out)" from 2004. The song reached #1 and the video was retired on TRL. The cover is over on the left. I ripped this myself from an autographed copy I have (FYE, I love you lol).
I figured I'd go kind of big for my first "exclusive." I think a pre-fame EP from a #1 chart topping, certified platinum artist is big enough for this lowly little blog. This is an EP that JoJo (real name: Joanna Levesque) recorded when she was 10 or 11 years old. It was used as a demo for record labels and as such can be hard to find as the only time the public could buy it was from a small indie music website. I've seen a few songs from it on the internet, but never the whole EP and never in the best quality. This is a rip I did myself from my copy of the EP (eBay rocks lol). It's VBR MP3 so it sounds fantastic. That's the cover up there. Enjoy!
Again, I ripped this myself, from it's premiere on TRL a while back. It's near DVD quality. Those screenshots above are taken straight from the video, but have been shrunk by Blogger. Click em to see em full size and better quality. File is compressed in .RAR format. Enjoy!
This will finish off my 90s pop bend (I hope lol). These are tracks from various places, none of which were released in the States I believe. "She'll Never Be Me" was a B-Side on the "Boys" single in Europe, "Deep in My Heart" was a bonus track on the European release of "... Baby One More Time," and "You Got It All" is just plain unreleased. The last track is remix of "Me Against the Music" by Scott Storch. If anyone has the Kanye West remix of that song, please send it my way. I have been looking for that song forever.
I'm tryin to get all these 90s pop acts out of the way right now, if you haven't guessed that yet lol. Here are some songs that were recorded during the sessions for their last album "Never Gone" but did not make the cut. I gotta thank Kristina for sending me these songs in the first place.
Yes, ANOTHER Christina Aguilera post. There will be a slight break till the next one though lol. This song is only on the German version of the "What A Girl Wants" single. It's called "Too Beautiful for Words." Enjoy!
I've been in a Christina mood ever since the album leaked, so here's another track from her. For some reason this was not put on the original CD single sent to radio stations, but was stuck on a different one with some remixes. This is a studio acapella. Christina has a great voice and I thought some people would like to hear it separate from the finely produced DJ Premier beat. Enjoy!
I ripped this from my radio station a couple weeks ago and posted a link on a forum I frequent. That somehow led to it being spread all over the internets within a day or so. Here it is again if you haven't gotten it yet:
I ripped this video me-self from its "Making The Video" on MTV. It's near DVD quality. The screenshots above are straight from the actual video, though they've been shrunk by Blogger. Click em to see the better quality, full size versions. Enjoy!
What better way to start off a blog called "SexyFront" then to post a song by JT's old runnin' buddies (the old "posse") 'N Sync. As far as I know, this track has only appeared on the Special Edition version of "No Strings Attached" released in Asia (and no where else as far as I can tell). The song is called "This Is Where The Party's At" and, as you will learn, there is a reason it was not on the US release of the album (hint: it's bad). I ripped this myself from an old Pizza Hut promotion CD I forgot I had.
Just a little intro here. This blog exists because I am bored too much. This will give me something to do lol. I'll be posting random rantings, interesting news (to me at least), and any music that strikes my fancy (mostly hip-hop, R&B, and pop). If more than one person decides to read this blog on anywhere near a regular basis, then I will consider it a rousing success and give myself a raise. I currently give myself $.02 and a paperclip for every post. If this blog does well I might bump it up to include a bit of string. Stay tuned as I have a bunch of stuff I'm planning on posting soon including some high quality music videos I recorded.
